The CATCh F.I.R.E. Immersion Program is an intensive, multi-day workshop program designed to kick start your home RDI® program into high gear under the direct, full-time supervision of our RDI Program Certified Consultants.  The program utilizes the RDI® Program principles to provide an effective, long-term remediation treatment for children with Autism. By “immersing” your family into a three to five day long RDI-themed experience, we will instill in your family the basic skills and practices upon which your treatment plan will be built.  Application of the principals learned in this course will allow families to enhance communication and increase the quality of the relationship with their child.

How the Program Works

You and your family will join us at the Staybridge Suites in Sunnyvale, CA for the duration of the three to five day program.* This “Living Classroom” environment provides a distraction free habitat that simulates your home setting with such typical amenities as kitchenette, laundry facilities, etc.  At our request, all televisions and video games/entertainment are removed from the rooms to help increase your ASD child’s focus (we ask that you refrain from bringing any video entertainment for your children).

One to two CATCH Consultants will spend each day with you (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm). During this period the consultants will introduce you to the RDI® Program Lifestyle through direct observation of your family’s interactions in a simulated home setting.

Day One will start off with an observation period to allow our consultant to see your family interact in real-world settings (shopping, playground, restaurant).  Based upon these observations and the treatment plan designed by your consultant, a variety of structured activities will be conducted over the remaining days under the direction of our consultants.  Homework will be assigned each evening focusing on engaging your child into daily family routines, which you will review with the CATCH consultant the following morning.

By the end of this workshop, families will be able to take home practical ideas and solutions to implement their RDI® Program objectives effectively under supervision of their Consultant.

Fees

The fee for the standard three-day immersion program is $3,500. Should your case require additional days, the fee is  $1000 per day.  If you require an updated RDA™ from our clinic, two additional days will be needed and the fee will be $4750 for your five day stay.

PLEASE NOTE: Lodging is not included in the above described fees, and reservations with Staybridge need to be made separately. The CATCH Clinic has negotiated a corporate rate with Staybridge for Immersion clients.

Registration

Please contact us directly at the CATCH Clinic so we may discuss the specifics of your case, answer any questions you may have and provide you with our registration kit.
