Relationship Development Assessment (RDA) The Relationship Development Assessment™ Planning Module (RDA™) is at the heart of the RDI® Program. This is a six-stage Intervention Planning assessment where we spend one-on-one time with you and your child to determine family readiness, which parent and child stages to begin working on, and identify obstacles and strengths. As each family is unique, this is also a time when we can determine how best to work with your family.
During this Planning Process, we will help you determine realistic, achievable goals. One of the most important aspects of the assessment is helping you find the easiest and best ways to set up your environment.
RDI Ongoing Program Support Following your Relation Development Assessment, parents receive ongoing support under the guidance of our experienced RDI® Program Certified Consultants, certified by the Connections Center. E each client will be assigned a primary consultant, however all CATCH consultants may be utilized from time to time as the specialties The Ongoing Program Support module consists of a customized mix of parent education, live “coaching’ sessions with parents and children, and regular review of videotapes made by parents in the home. What is included in your Ongoing Support will be based on your family’s unique needs and will be determined in consultation with you. Ongoing Support typically includes bi-annual intervention planning weeks to evaluate your program and set new objectives
CATCH FIRE—RDI Immersion Program The CATCh F.I.R.E. Immersion Program is an intensive, multi-day workshop program designed to kick start your home RDI® program into high gear under the direct, full-time supervision of our RDI Program Certified Consultants. The program utilizes the RDI® Program principles to provide an effective, long-term remediation treatment for children with Autism. By “immersing” your family into a three to five day long RDI-themed experience, we will instill in your family the basic skills and practices upon which your treatment plan will be built. Application of the principals learned in this course will allow families to enhance communication and increase the quality of the relationship with their child.
